Steam Name: BigRigMonty
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:89355508
Age (IRL): I am of the age of sixteen.
Time On New Horizons (HalfLifeRP):
So far playing on New Horizons I played a couple of days just roaming the town and passively playing on the server. I have seen
Time On Half Life 2 RP:
I have been roleplay since the start of my account. When I first got into Steam because of my friends, I played Team Fortress 2 for a little bit. The game was free and I didn’t buy any games. The summer steam sales came and I purchased Garry’s Mod. As soon as I got Garry’s Mod I was instructed to download the CSS textures to play Darkrp. I didn’t know much about Role-play, but I just went along with my friends. They showed me what I was missing. I didn’t play Steam for awhile. I was once a “Console player.” I regret those times (But I still had fun playing COD and other games, but to be honest, I would have had much more fun on Steam). Well once I transferred to Steam I played Darkrp on Garry’s Mod. I played on the server called Dark Matter Role-play. It was once known as the number seventh best Darkrp server. I think the best times I have ever had were in Dark Matter. The community was great and my friends and I played so much. The server died out. This happens to a lot of servers. This happened for many reasons. The server owner treated the server with negligence, the server suffered from technical problems, many players on the server moved on in life, etc. Dark Matter was a simple server. To be honest, that is what makes a server great. Not the addons or plugins, but the community. That is one of the reasons why I found myself playing actively on Burrito Brothers. Well next in the line was finding a new server. After complications on a couple other servers. I find myself on Evolution gaming. Another darkrp. (This is right before I found HL2RP). This server was cool. Not as good as Dark Matter, but still fun. I found myself in the staff and I had been beloved in the community and I returned that love by being the best that I could. However, this is when I found HL2RP. One of my friends and I jumped into Revival HL2RP on City 17. My friend was very familiar with Half Life 2 and its lore. He taught me and there was the moment where I fell in love. We played for lots of time. We didn’t mostly play on Revival. While my friend was not around, I played on different servers. I was addicted. I played on many servers When I reconnected with my friend, we hopped between servers to find a good one. We found ourselves in Argon. This server was the first to entice me to apply for Civil Protection. This was the phase after playing as a citizen for awhile. My friend told me of the wonders of the whitelist and how it would spice things up for me. I applied; however, I was a mere novice and I didn’t really know much of the lore and how things worked. I was denied. Being that my friend was experienced, he was accepted. Being a great friend, he didn’t play without me. He didn’t play as the CIvil Protection because I couldn’t. We left Argon and was left to find another server. Later I would find that Argon would fall for a bit. Next, was the best part of the Half-Life 2 experience. I played on Transcendence HL2RP. This was an amazing experience. After the disaster in Argon, I did not want to repeat the same mistake. I read up on the lore and shared games with my friend to play Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode 1, and Episode 2. I was very knowledgeable at this point. However, I only knew of the lore, the citizen role-play, and the mechanics of HL2RP. I applied at the forums of Transcendence for the Civil Protection whitelist. With my new knowledge of the gamemode, I was accepted. (Also, my friend and I applied and were the first applicants at the time.) We played so much. We played and played. However, my friend was much better than I. He reached the rank of SWORD O1 (Basically i1. Also, SWORD is an elite UNION unit that served in that server as a part of the army of the Sectorial himself). Me being new to the whole Civil Protection role-play, I reached O4. Then I got amputated in a research project in which a new vaccine was to be tested. (they called it the “Blue liquid” It was the butt of so much jokes by my friends. It was funny, but so unfortunate for me.) I restarted again, but this time, I was going to try to impress everyone. I got back to the same rank and then the server suffered a shutdown. This was a huge letdown for everyone apart of the community. I was left to yet again find another server. To not suffer through the struggle of depending on other people to fulfill my friends and I’s fix for HL2RP, one of my friends hosted his own HL2RP server through his computer (This is the friend that I first played HL2RP with. Makes sense that he hosted it for what comes next later in the story). We played for awhile. Some people joined periodically, but we kept to ourselves for the most part. The next thing was a miracle. A person joined the server that would change our lives for the better. The player conversed with the friend that hosted the server. The player revealed that he owned his own server. I don’t quite recall what is was called, but it is not of importance for this story. The player felt for my friend, for they both ran their own server and sometimes the owner of a server goes through stressful moments while running a server. The player proposed to my friend that they jointly run a server. At this time, I had to go to sleep so I did not know what happened next. I was shown instead. The next revealed a new server that we played on called Viven HL2RP. This server was a very well done. This server was not the same server as the one the new player owned, but a newly coded server to replace that one. My friend was apart of a council of sorts. He along with the player met on the day and another very cool person that I met later in time. This server involved a whole new experience in HL2RP: the CIvil Worker’s Union. In the Union, I was not a Doctor or Shop keeper. I owned a workshop. I invented new devices and tools. I also repaired items for a fee. One of the most fun parts was before I became a CWU. I was a street cleaner. To show my loyalty to the Union, I cleaned the streets for Loyalist points. I took this idea along with me into the CWU. I built a rake/broom tool that played as both of the tools. This was a fun idea to play with, because I could use the tool to clean more streets. (My character did really like cleaning the streets). The server had so many fun times. I saved an Officer from death. Also, I was the biggest snitch. It was the funniest thing. But hey, as a loyalist I was obligated to do so. I was just trying to survive in the cruel HL2 world. Well all fun things aside, the end was drawing near. One of the council member who actually ran the server broke the idea of the trinity. He began to make server decisions on his own and this really vexed the other two council members. The trinity broke. One of the council members (Which was the other member that I didn’t really know) broke off and said that he had enough. My friend really did not want to associate with the last other council member that much. Now that we left the server, yet again for another time, we were left without a server to play on. During this time, we were not playing Garry’s Mod much. We played on the server hosted by my friend called Light Matter. We wanted to make it a thing and host it on a hoster. We did not have the funds because none of us had a job to keep the server alive. To our surprise, Transcendence came back up later in time. Like before, I played a lot on this server. On the second time playing on the server, I was very experienced. I tried again at Civil Protection and I reached OfC. This time on Transcendence was even better. Also, at this time I received the rank of Administrator on the server and I did my best to outdo myself when I got the chance. The experience was action filled. The rebels had such a great area to cultivate and rise. I a civil protection had such a fun time try to foil the rebels. Through this, I was basically the most involved in the downfall of the rebels. One of my friends were actually apart of them. I captured him along with some of my commanding officers and he was used for so much than just to be amputated. He was converted to GENESYS. Wow, what a surprise. I was blown away. One of the most infamous units was the original GENESYS who rocked the UU symbol in his name. This new GENESYS was brainwashed into hating his old rebels partners. GENESYS and I busted in the base to find it was abandoned. This was just a bit of fun that I had. Well the server began to die out and then it was glitched and abandoned for awhile. I transferred onto Inquisitive HL2RP which was started by a community member in Transcendence. The server was pretty good. Being known as a very great role-player, I became the City Administrator. This was a new experience and I learned lots. However, this new server was short lived for me. This is due to the fact that the server owner want to change the server into a Outlands server. Outlands isn’t my cup of tea, so I didn’t really play on it. Then transcendence resurfaced with a new fixed server. I was one of the people who first came back. At this time, I use my administrative power to make the server better. I gave the server owner many different ideas and suggestions. I built on the server to give it life. For my efforts I became a community owner. I earned the super admin rank and I did my best. I did my best to keep the server alive. The server was destined to die. The server owner began to neglect the server and it began to corrode away. I stopped playing Garry’s Mod for awhile. I played some Darkrp for a bit which was a blast. I played other games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Grand Theft Auto V. Later I found New Horizons HalflifeRp.net. I played for a bit on my first day and the flame for the love that I had for HL2RP was ignited. I had so much fun so far. Now the rest of my role-play experience will turn out through time.
Past Experience With MPF:
The major experiences that I have have been with either UNION or JUDGE. I am not very knowledgeable about GRID and HELIX. As UNION. I have reached the rank of Officer. I commanded squads on certain raids and missions. I served as the UNION Divisional leader’s right hand man and I served in the Sectorial’s private army when I was transferred to the SWORD (more elite Union division) Division. As JUDGE, I reached the rank of oh-three. I performed certain missions and investigations for my Divisional Leader. They were not very high-priority, but I still served the unit with the jobs I completed. The jobs included finding certain anti-citizens lurking about in the city and interrogations of captured citizens in the prospekt. The interrogations were intelligent and swift. My JUDGE unit used tactics to trick citizens into giving information for the glory of the Union.
Why Should We Accept You:
I will most likely be accepted because of the fact that I am very experienced in Role-play. I have almost two thousand hours on Garry’s Mod. Most of it is on Role-play. Darkrp and Half-Life two Roleplay. One may say that it doesn’t matter how many hours one has, but I say that hours equals how many hours put into a game. I am also very intelligent and my work is very detailed. I am a problem-solver and a honest player. I play for fun and not to gain materialistic or superficial aspects of the server.
What Do You Think You Will Be Doing In The MPF:
As a Metro-police unit, I see myself as a JUDGE unit. This is due to the fact that the UNION division is a division for low-minded units. My character, John White is highly intelligent and cunning. I see myself interrogating captured citizens and running the prospekt as a warden. Also, I may see myself as a role-model for other units. I will a unit that impresses his superiors and will replace his superiors later in life.
Character Back Story (3 paragraphs 5 sentences each minimum):
John White was born in Arizona. He grew up in a small town and graduated high school. His life "began" when he got interested in law enforcement. He had always hated criminals, and had no love for those who abuse or break the law. He signed up to be in a riot as well as swat team squad. It took a lot longer for it to be reviewed than he though, so he decided he would hit the gym to try to get ready for it.
After a couple of weeks, John's application was reviewed. He was called in for an interview. He was accepted the next day. He lived not far from his parents' home by himself. John always worried about his parents, fearing for their safety.
One day, when he was in a training session for riot situations, a suited man walked in and interrupted. He told John that something had happened, and he was to speak to someone on a phone. John complied and followed him. He was led into a room with a phone. He grabbed the phone, and put his ear to it.
A voice began speaking, telling him in a calm manor that his parents were killed in what appeared to be a drug-fueled homicide spree. He was informed that the suspect was already in custody, and that there was nothing they could do for his parents. John sat there in the room silently for a few moments. After the man on the other line asked if he was still there, John said yes. He then hung up the phone. The suited man from before walked in and said that he was sorry.
They allowed John to leave his training session.John went to his parents' house to look at the crime scene. He was deeply horrified by what he had saw. With the help of the department he worked with, he set up a funeral.
Eventually, John moved on. He didn't let it bother him too much during work, but at night he cried at times. The first day he was sent out on a mission, he had done quite well, completing his objective swiftly with the help of his squad mates. They took down a drug lab, and got the suspects in custody. Years passed as John actively took part in swat operations and suppressing local riots.
John was off-duty when he had heard screams of men, women, and children alike coming from outside his house. He looked out the window to see a three-legged creature of some sort towering over a group of people. It shot down at them with some sort of futuristic gun. John turned, and ran to his bedroom. He unlocked a box which contained a handgun.
He flicked the safety off, and grabbed his phone. He dialed 911. Instead of getting an answer, the phone line was dead. John heard the smashing of windows when all of a sudden he felt a surge of electricity go through him. He fell over, unconscious.
John woke up on a train of some sort, on its way to City-Eighteen. He found out what had happened after asking around. He was outraged. He began planning on doing something big. Thoughts kept going through his head about how he had to resist.
It was when he heard a speech from the city administrator that he realized he was becoming what he was fighting before the invasion. He calmed himself, and eventually became a loyalist, out of fear. He gathered up loyalist points by doing pointless work such as cleaning dumpster and picking up cans, but he didn't mind it. It helped him calm down.
After a few weeks, John had decided that he would join Civil Protection. He still had all of his skills from before, and thought that he'd make a great addition to the force. One day, he went to his local recruitment center, and applied. He waited weeks for an answer.
RP Example (25 lines minimum):
1/request: I just witnessed an African American man mugging a man near the D-3 Fence.
2/me hears the static from his radio clear as a worried man starts to speak. The only clear words he could hear was ‘Mugging… D-3’ and with that he grabbed his radio, saying “Union 03 10-4, in route to last call,” and went into a full sprint into the D-3 area.
3** The man holding the request device would be seen at the end of the ally just before the fenced area. He is very well dressed and seems out of place.
4/me would run to the man, unclipping his stun stick with his right hand from his belt. “Citizen.” “Where is he?”
5**The citizen would have a look of horror as he responds, “He is just over there! Quick!” The citizen would point toward the corner leading to the fence.
6/me flicks the voltage to low on his stun stick as he rounds the corner. He sees a man grabbing another man while holding a knife. “Citizen! Drop the weapon!”
7**The mugger would look to the Unit, letting go of the man and dropped the knife in fear. He was like a deer in headlights.
8/me would cautiously walk to the man, holding his stun stick above his shoulder, ready to strike. “Wall! Now!”
9**The unit was not experienced enough to see what was about to happen next. The man who requested him stealthily walks up behind him and an auditable sound of a gun’s hammer clicking back could be heard.
10/me holds still as he hears the cocking of a gun just behind his head. He swallows hard as he contemplates as to what is going on.
11**The citizen stands behind him with a .357 pistol pointed to the units head. “Thank you for your… /amazing/ service.”
12**The mugger and the citizen in front of him start to laugh at the joke as the unit confirms in his mind that he was set up.
13**The gun is pressed against the back of the units head, forcing his head down under the pressure. The citizen behind him (Citizen1) says “Now turn off your little stick and drop it and drop any other weapons you may have… slowly.”
14/me would do as he is told. He uses his thumb to disengage his stun stick and opens his hand to let it drop to the ground with a thud.
15**Citizen1 taps the barrel of his gun against the back of the units head as he says “And your radio, too. Wouldn’t want your friends to join us, would we?”
16/me grunts in protest as he reaches his left hand down slowly and unclips his radio and lets it fall to the ground.
17**The mugger laughs as he kneels down to pick up the stun stick. He winds it up like a bat and hits the unit full force in the chest.
18/me would fall back from the hit, he gasps for air as the wind is knocked out of him. He tilts his head left to see his radio, he reaches for it while gasping.
19**Citizen1 would place his foot onto the Unit’s arm to prevent him from grabbing the radio. He would look down at the unit and hold his hand in front of him, wiggling his finger side to side. “Ah, no no no my friend.”
20 **Citizen1 would then wind his leg back and attempt to knock the unit out by kicking the unit in the head.
21/me would be knocked out from such a blow.
22**The group of citizens would loot the unconscious unit. They hear the boots of another unit coming down the alley and take off in the other direction.
23**The citizens ran with the loot in hand retreating to a safe area to hide and stash the goods.
24**The incoming units would find themselves with the unconscious body of the fallen unit and begin to search around for any evidence. A unit with a trench and the name JUDGE would show himself with his intimidating red eyes inspecting the area.
25**The JUDGE unit would yell into the microphone certain commands and codes and stash it back. He would inspect the units around him yelling, “It appears we have a case on our hands boys!”

Infractions With An Officer (Explain):
I have never been detained by a Metropolice unit. I value my record and I have not tarnished it with actions similar to anti-citizens. I believe that what those kinds of people do is a pitiful representation for all of the humankind. I feel that I am blessed by the Great Benefactors. For this, I have never found myself in any kind of trouble
